Some usefull tips when you travel

Make a copy of your passport and send this to an e-mail adres you can easily reach via the computer (Hotmail, yahoo, webmail of your own provider).

Ask the police a copy of the report, it is your right.

Report your damage within two days (48 hours) at your insurance company.

Never give your official documents to others, but make a copy. (exception: customs)

Always request help from an expert in case of damage or personal injury.

After a collision, leave your car at the place of the accident. If the opposite party requests you to move the vehicle, first make pictures of the situation. If you don't do this you risk that the police will not make a report anymore.

Write down date of possible witnesses.

Always have papers with you for identification, also the documents for your vehicle.
